It is fun! I am not an expert at it by any means but just start small. Start with a line, then a square, then try circle (its how I started).

I think our pc expert is armybrat. I am not sure about donnalee. I am sure she would drop you a few links useful links to beginners patterns if you ask nice Wink .

Hi Nick,

You may want to consider starting with some simple kits once you get the hang of things. There is an entire section dedicated to plastic canvas kits in Annies Attic needlecraft catalog. I will be making a list of all the different catalogs available at shopathome, and what each catalog has to offer. I will add it in a few minutes. Smile

For a really good tutorial on plastic canvas stitches, go to www.stitchguide.com .
I recently lost a year's worth of bookmarks and all of my saved passwords! I do have lots of pc patterns if you are interested.

Hi Nick,

Have a look at the plastic canvas project that armybrat just posted here:

http://www.mycraftbook.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=104

While something like this may be a bit too complex for a beginner because of the 3d, it shows you the potential!
