I'm new to this board but not to crafting or cross-stitch. I'd gotten so
overwhelmed by work and what's been going on in my life that I haven't
been crafting or stitching much lately. I'm just now picking it up again.
I think I finally woke up and realized that I need to play a little more.

Just last night I started two new counted cross-stitch projects, today
I'm going to go through my craft stash and then make another
trip to Michael's.

I made the mistake of bringing my 11 yr. old son with me to get the
fabric and floss for the cross-stitch projects. I'd forgotten what a pain
it is to go through skeins of floss looking for right colors , he finally ended up helping me just to get finished. Then of course I had to take a complete tour of the store to help me get a little inspiration and motivation.

He dragged behind me the whole time bugging me to go.

I got a really good deal on the floss. 6 skeins for $1.00. I was very
pleasently surprised since I needed about 20 skeins !

I feels good to doing something creative again. #angel
