I made a faux Fireplace out of paper grocery bags. I cut the bags open, along the seam, and cut off the bottom. Tape them together soyou have a giant Rectangle. Use a rectangle sponge dipped into red paint to make bricks, and draw a log and grate in the middle. Use something for fire, I used aluminum foil painted orange w/ gold glitter. I included a picture

Thanks! We live ina an apartment, and have no fireplace...... I always had one growing up, even though it was fake in my first house, lol. I don't have kids yet, (even though I was due for one the 15th. grrr) but I figured this would be an interesting idea for those with kids and no fireplace to help with the santa coming in explanation. Another idea is the magic Santa key..... I don't remember the website I got it from but I have a picture with a poem. I don'tknow if I am allowed toput it in here w/o knowing where it came from? Let me know and I will! =)

You were due on the fifteenth? Maybe you'll have a Christmas baby!

If the information comes from another website you really shouldn't post it here since it is somone elses work. All you have to do is take part of the poem and google it. The site it comes from should be listed.

Once you do find the site in google make sure to post the link Smile
