Book Review

I appreciate the way wreaths in various stages of completion are included in the Wreathmaking Basics chapter to demonstrate possible applications of the materials being displayed because this gives you even more wreath making ideas.  The wreaths in this book are divided into the chapters Winter Warmers, Spring Flings, Summer Frolics, Fall Harvests, Celebrations and Year 'Round Whimsies.  I noticed that the author did not create names for most of the wreaths so it can be a bit of a pain to tell your friends about the wreaths without referring to a page number.  It is easier to look for a type of wreath because some of the wreaths are grouped together in categories (i.e. Easter and Kitchen wreaths).  One of the wreaths I really like has no name and is referred to in the index only as dyeing dried flowers (pages 40-41), part of the process of making this particular wreath.  I feel this book is a good resource and inspiration for wreath making but the lack of names for the individual wreaths is an inconvenience.
