Scrapbooking Discussion

The inspiration for this scrapbook layout is Father’s Day because all the moments in the layout are special moments shared with daddy.

Scrapbooking Notes:

I cut around father and daughter when she was a baby because the background of the photo wasn’t necessary and this highlights their first special moment together where she opened her eyes in the photo. The photo at the top of the page is the most recent special moment and the one below it a few months earlier. I put the most recent one at the top of the page because I really like the photo and the moment they unknowingly shared (they were both asleep and therefore unaware of what was happening and that I’d taken the photo). No embellishments are necessary for this layout; it is busy enough because the background is a piece of patterned photo mounting paper. The only other things I added to the layout are two pieces of lilac photo mounting paper to use for journaling. I cut the pieces to fit in the spaces left blank beside the photos, centered and attached them to the page.
