Scrapbooking Discussion

This page took about 45 minutes to complete since I made my own photo corners and cut the second photo into a unique shape and mounted it. I really wanted the photos to stand out so I used contrasting background colors (the sand colored borders and the green photo mounting paper). The brown pen I used for the journaling has a reddish tinge to it so it almost matches the burgundy used for the photo corners and the backing for the second photo.

• Ruler
• Brown bold-tip pen

• Self-healing mat

Scrapbooking Notes:

I made my own photo corners using burgundy photo mounting paper, measuring them with a ruler to make sure they were all the same size. I lined up the photo with the lines on the self-healing mat and arranged the photo corners so they were in the exact same spot on the corners before attaching them to the photo. Then I centered the photo over the borders so the burgundy color lay in contrast against the natural colored borders. The burgundy color makes the photos stand out against the background and the decorative writing (dots added to all the points on the letters) makes the second photo stand out against the first.
