Scrapbooking Discussion

This Scrapbooking layout was inspired by the Santa Claus parade. It took about 45 minutes to make including planning the layout. It has lots of fun Christmas stickers made specifically to celebrate the 100th year of the Santa Claus Parade.

Santa Claus Parade Layout

Scrapbook Supplies

• Green photo mounting paper
• Santa Claus Parade stickers
• Double sided adhesive

Scrapbook Tools

• Personal trimmer
• Ruler

Scrapbooking Notes:

The green background provides a nice contrast to the colors in the photos, especially the reds of the Clifford float and the stickers embellishing the page. The parade stickers that tie into the theme of the layout fill in small spaces between the photos as well as adding a fun, whimsical touch to the page. The snowflake stickers used in the corners of one of the photos frame it as well as adding some dimension to its corners. Square corners are abundant in this layout so not only do the stickers make this photo stand out but also make it so not everything is square. I used red bold-tip marker to contrast the green background, to continue the Christmas colors and to match the red of the Clifford float.
