Scrapbooking Discussion

The inspiration for this layout was a fun trip to the park one day. I framed one of the photos with a jungle kids theme frame because my daughter was swinging from a bar above the slide. It is the first in a sequence of photos of her sliding down the slide.

Scrapbook Supplies

• Light green photo mounting paper
• Double sided adhesive

Scrapbook Tools

• Personal trimmer
• Corner rounder
• Magenta bold – tip pen

Scrapbooking Notes:

I cut the excess background from the photos to make them all fit the page. Upon doing so I discovered the square corners of the photo next to the rounded bottom of the slide so I used the corner rounder to make the corners of the photo match the shape of the slide. I did this for the other picture of the slide as well to make the two photos match but it also just looked right. The framed photo looks best all by itself centered at the top of the page while the other two are arranged evenly at the bottom of the page. Little journaling is needed because the photos tell the story. All I wrote on the page in block letters with the bold-tip marker was Swing & Slide, one word on either side of the photo, to describe the action in the photos. I also added the date below the photo in the right hand corner.
