Scrapbooking Discussion

The inspiration for this layout was a visit to my great aunt’s place so she could meet my daughter. During this visit my daughter also got to meet another great, great Uncle and Aunt.

Scrapbooking Notes:

I cropped the photos into a variety of shapes to uniquely showcase the people in them. The photos are all cropped in shapes with rounded edges so they fit together but they are all distinct enough to stand out next to each other. I arranged the photos on the page so they are centered on each other side by side as well as vertically. The journaling could be added around the photos to document who the relatives in the photos are as well as a bit of the action occurring in them. With the oval photo I would add journaling around the top and bottom of the photo and with the hexagon photo I would use the sides of the hexagon at the top and bottom of the photo as a guide for the location of the journaling. Around the smaller circular photo there is more room for journaling so the date of the visit could be added here as well as the people and action in the photo. As with the oval photo, I would use the space at the top and bottom of the photo for the journaling as long as it didn’t interfere with the journaling for the photo above it.
