Scrapbooking Discussion

This layout took about 35 minutes. I used a classic green to serve as a background that won't overpower these black and white photos. They represent various ages and stages of a family at their home farm. Some of the photos were rounded at the corners or left square depending on what best suited the photo .

Heritage Farm Scrapbooking Layout

Scrapbook Supplies

• Green photo mounting paper
• 2 Heritage stickers
• Family/heritage photos
• Double sided adhesive

Scrapbook Tools

• Personal trimmer
• Corner rounder
• Ruler
• Scissors
• Black fine tip pen

Scrapbooking Notes:

I wrapped the writing around the photos to maximize my use of the space because I included so many photos on the page. Not too many embellishments are required because what is really important with heritage scrapbooking is the journalling including names, dates and description of the event. The stickers add a bit of color to contrast with the black and white photos. I didn't crop the one photo with the border around it, it deserved to be left like that because part of its history is that is was developped that way. Classic black fine tip pen is the only color that suited this layout.
