Scrapbooking Discussion

This scrapbook layout was inspired by my daughter's reaction to some of the floats she saw at the Santa Claus parade. This one took about 25 minutes to make.

Scrapbooking Notes:

Once again I used green photo mounting paper for the background to this layout and red bold-tip pen, keeping with the Christmas colors to tie in with the theme of the parade. I used blue, green, brown and black bold-tip pen underneath the photos to label what the floats were. The colors match some part of the float and also contrast the green of the background paper. This is a simple layout that does not require any embellishment because you want the photos to be the focus of the attention and not the stickers or other embellishments. There is enough journaling to fill up the empty spaces on the page, the journaling frames the photos and the different colors of pens make the words stand out on the page.
