Candle Making Discussion
This Chocolate Chip Cookie Candle looks good enough to eat which is just one of the many reasons to keep this candle as well as all candles out of children's reach. Make a whole batch to give away as gift. Arrange them in a box lined with tissue paper and they will resemble something you bought at the bakery. The bonus about these cookies is that they will always be fresh!

First Aid

Place a pre-tabbed wick on a piece of wax paper. Melt 2 batches of wax, adding to one the golden dye and to the second, the brown dye. The batch with the brown dye in it can be much smaller since we will be using this to make the chocolate chips. Chocolate chip cookie candles step 1
You need to whip the candle wax for the chocolate chip cookie candle the same way we did to make the tops of the chocolate chip muffins. To make the whipped wax, simply beat the golden colored wax with the electric mixer. Once complete, scoop it out with a spoon and place it around the pre-tabbed wick. Continue spooning wax around the wick. Make sure to push the wax close to the wick with the spoon. Chocolate chip cookie candles step 3
