Book Review

Before you begin a project from her book, the author suggests in the Introduction that you read the Better Papercrafts section which includes a list of useful addresses where you can purchase materials not available elsewhere since this is a British publication.  Some of the terminology in this book is different so this entire chapter, including a glossary, helps you to better understand the tools and products you will need for your projects.  Some full size patterns are also provided for your convenience.
I really enjoyed this book because the paper crafts incorporated into this book are not typical.  The author includes a diverse selection of projects using techniques such as Decoupage (and 3-D Decoupage), Origami, Wreath Making, Papier Mache, Bead Making, and Paper Piercing in the following sections (Stationery, Home Decor, Jewellery, Toys and Origami, and Greetings) that will appeal to today's crafters.  Make the projects in this book as gifts or to decorate your own home.

The font size is very small so people who have trouble reading small print may have some difficulty reading the instructions for the projects.  Use of a magnifying device for reading is all that is needed to rectify this and then everyone can enjoy this book full of interesting and useful projects.
