Book Review

What I like about All New Crafts for Halloween is that the crafts included in the book really are all new. This book is geared toward children and this is evident in the way the materials and supply lists are presented to the reader. There are color drawings of all the materials and supplies required for the craft as well as illustrated step-by-step instructions for the crafts. There is also a whimsical quality to the illustrations that make the craft ideas that much more appealing because they are visually appealing. Children are very visual and it seems the author Kathy Ross has used this knowledge to create a book that is easy to use with little or no parental assistance. This doesn’t exclude parental supervision because this is always necessary for safety, especially with young children. It also comes down to parents knowing the capabilities of their own children.
