Scrapbooking Discussion

Not all scrapbooking done using family photos have only people as subjects. Pets are also an important part of the family and both Macey Ann and Sammy really enjoyed each other’s company when we visited her grandparents one summer.

Scrapbooking Notes:

I cropped all the unnecessary background from the photos and arranged them on the pages with one large photo in each corner and one small photo in each corner. I paired up the photos with the same background and centered the small photos in the space next to the larger photos. I used a doghouse sticker that tied in with the theme and the journaling to fill in an empty space below one of the photos. Matching stickers in the corners of the two larger photos filled in empty spaces as well as adding a bit of color to photos with dark backgrounds or subjects. The dog biscuit stickers underneath the journaling tie in with the subject of the journaling and lead up to the doghouse representing where Macey Ann would take dog biscuits to Sammy. I combined caption stickers with written journaling to add extra dimension the page and the stickers used captured the moments.
