Scrapbooking Discussion

The inspiration for this layout was the photos of my daughter and her uncle’s kitten both asleep in the highchair she uses when she visits her grandparents.

Baby and Cat Share a High Chair

•2 heart stickers
•3 star stickers
•3 Yummy Baby (food related) stickers
•Cat food dish sticker
•Double sided adhesive

Scrapbook Tools

•Scissors
•Ruler

Scrapbooking Notes:

I positioned the photos diagonally across from each other so they would both fit on the page without crowding each other. I arranged the stickers diagonally to mimic positioning of the photos as well as to fill in the spaces next to the photos. The stickers I chose were either related to sleeping or eating to tie in with the theme of the photos. I added the stickers with baby and cat on them near or on the actual photos of the related subjects in the photos. The heart and stars stickers on either side of the highchair sticker fill in the empty spaces but also tie in with the cute nature of the photos because they are part of sheets of baby related stickers. The food themed stickers on the tray of the highchair my daughter is sitting in fill in the iPhone 5 Cases Canada empty white space as well as adding some dimension to the layout. Little journaling is needed because the photos are self-explanatory. There is room for journaling at the top of the page for a title to the layout and room beneath the photos to make simple statements about the photos.
