| Scrapbooking Notes:
I placed the oval sizing template over the photo to decide which
blade I would need to use to cut the photo into an oval shape. When
I saw it was the red blade I needed I replaced the sizing template
with the cutting template over the photo, making sure it was positioned
properly and inserted the feet of the blade into the grooves of
the cutting template. Holding firmly onto the cutting template to
keep it and the photo from shifting, I ran the blade around the
cutting template until the oval section of the photo was completely
cut from the rest of the photo. You can check this by touching it
to see if it moves freely or if it needs to be cut a bit more. Don’t
move the cutting template until you are sure the oval photo is cut
completely. I centered the photo on the brown photo mounting paper
and attached it with double sided adhesive. Once the photo was securely
attached to the paper I added the journaling around the curves at
the top and bottom of the oval photo. To finish off the layout I
added two dog stickers like the type of dog in the photo in opposite
corners of the page and two caption stickers that relate to the
theme of the photo in the remaining two opposite corners. If you
don’t have the oval cutting template you can always just draw
an outline around the photo yourself and cut it out with scissors.
